Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Following its official reveal during Ubisoft’s Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017 media briefing, the Creative Director for Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Jean Guedson, discussed the in-game map size. According to Guedson, the in-game world is massive, kind of like Caribbean in Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag.

While playing the game, players will be able to explore some iconic Egyptian locations like the Alexandria in North, the city of Memphis, Giza Plateau, the Black Desert, Faiyum Oasis, and more. Speaking to GameInformer, here is what Guedson said:

It is a huge world. Basically, we took the size of Black Flag’s Caribbean, but on the ground, so a lot of locations to travel that will allow us to show how rich ancient Egypt was.

In addition to this, we also managed to obtain an image of the in-game map from studio’s E3 2017 media briefing, courtesy of GamePur. As you can see, the world looks incredibly huge with plenty of iconic locations from the ancient Egypt.
