Canceled Prey 2 Had An Amazing Plot Twist, But Bethesda Considered It Too Confusing

What a game it would have been.

Prey 2017 launched with positive reception from both players and critics alike. However, Prey 2017 is a reboot and has nothing to do with the first Prey title. But, before there was Prey 2017, Prey 2 was in development which got cancelled in favour of the game that recently launched, however, the cancelled game had a pretty amazing plot twist.

According to Eurogamer, who gathered a lot of new info from the developers who were involved with Prey 2. The developers talked about the cancelled game and also revealed a pretty amazing plot twist for the game. The game was supposed to be tied to the first Prey and Tommy was also supposed to be in the cancelled game.

The plot revolved around the game’s protagonist being a bounty hunter and eventually freeing Tommy and there are Keepers who are controlling an entire planet and are constructing a new sphere called War Sphere and they are planning to attack Earth. However, that is not the plot twist, it is something quite amazing but, also something that Bethesda considered it too confusing.

The plot twist is extremely brilliant if you think of it which also makes it even more hard to fathom the cancellation of Prey 2 which could have an amazing game. However, what is done is done and the devs have moved o and so should we.

What do you think of the plot twist? Do you think it would have been an amazing game if given the chance? Let us know in the comments.
