Fans of Hideo Kojima are eager to know more about the upcoming Death Stranding and Kojima himself has been revealing new details about the game. While we are yet to see any gameplay for Death Stranding, Hideo Kojima has revealed Death Stranding themed mobile covers.

Kojima revealed these Death Stranding themed mobile covers through his Twitter account and said that he is working hard to make these covers available in the market. However, by the looks of it, it seems that these mobile covers will be for iPhone 7, however, there is a chance that these covers will be released for other mobile devices.

There is a lot of hype surrounding the upcoming game from Hideo Kojima and there is also speculation on the internet about Stefanie Joosten, who played Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V, is involved with the game. However, when asked about it, she neither confirmed or denied it saying that she can’t really say.

During the Dutch Comic Con 2017, Stefanie Joosten was present at the event promoting a feature film. During the event, she was asked if the rumour about her involvement in Death Stranding are true and if she is really working with Hideo Kojima.

To this Stefanie Joosten replied that “I can’t say anything about that, unfortunately” and the person who asked the question said, “that’s saying enough”.

Also, Hideo Kojima revealed why he chose to develop Death Stranding after leaving Konami. According to Kojima, this was his best idea for the gaming market at that time.

I come up with new ideas every day and they all override each other. I had several at the front of my mind, and we ended up choosing the game that – first of all – would be best for the market, and the one we were most enthusiastic about making. That was Death Stranding.

No release date has been announced for Death Stranding, but Hideo Kojima has hinted that the game will launch in 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
