Xbox Live Free Multiplayer event

An Xbox Live free multiplayer event has been announced by Microsoft, allowing everyone, even players that don’t have Xbox Live, to be able to play online for free. The event will be lasting from May 18, today, to May 21, late Sunday. The event also has a free weekend for Minecraft.

The free multiplayer weekend means that if you or friends you have have games like Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, Battlefield 1, FIFA 17, and other games like them, you’ll be able to play them together regardless of whether or not you or they have Xbox Live.

The Xbox Live free multiplayer event also extends to the Xbox 360, so if for some reason you haven’t picked up an Xbox One yet (despite this generation being four years old) you won’t get left out in the cold.

Multiplayer, especially in shooter and sports games, is one of the biggest areas of video gaming. So, if you’re one of those gamers that really enjoys playing online with your friends, you can make use of the free weekend to do some real online gaming.

And even if you don’t want to play anything fast-paced, you can still take a nice, relaxing stroll through a world of cubes in Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. The game will also be having a free trial at the same time as the Xbox Live Free multiplayer event, so you can explore a whole world and build anything you want during the time period.

Keep in mind that, once again, the Xbox Live free multiplayer event only lasts from today until Sunday, so you don’t have much time to experience Xbox Live Gold for yourself. You’ll be able to make use of the event no matter which variant of Xbox you play, so you can get a good indication of what Xbox Live Gold is like.
