According to the player, after reaching the 999,999 Rupees limit in Zelda: Breath Of The Wild nothing happens, you just stop collecting additional rupees. The player revealed that after reaching the limit he “used a Gannondorf amiibo to have rupees drop and nothing was being added” to his wallet.
