Destiny 2 Hats May Contain Hints About Upcoming Subclasses

Call of Duty: WWII vs Destiny 2

A trio of Destiny 2 hats have gone on sale at GameStop, and considering their designs, Destiny fans may be able to discover bits of information about the game’s subclasses for all of their Guardians, going by the logos that were emblazoned on all three hats. We still, however, don’t know their names.

The three Destiny 2 hats that hint at the subclasses include a snake, a lion, and a hawk for Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks, respectively. The animals don’t give us any idea of what the names of the subclasses will be, but they’re a bit of a change from last game.

The Destiny 2 subclasses have already been hinted at in a collection of concept art, which showed each class of Guardian with a different weapon, but we don’t really know what those new weapons will involve. Around the time of The Taken King three new subclasses were revealed as well, which gave Guardians a new class to level up and get a cool new power.

These included the Warlock’s Stormcaller, the Titan’s Sunbreaker, and the Hunter’s Nightstalker. These gave you the ability to shoot lightning out of your hands, have a giant hammer made of concentrated sunlight, and a bow made of dark matter, respectively.

If the Destiny 2 hats do hint at new subclasses, those will only be the latest revealed change for Destiny 2. Along with Bungie ditching the Light Level system and the Cabal attacking and apparently occupying the Last City for the extent of the game’s story mode, we’ll probably get a few more reveals before the game releases in early September.

There will also be a gameplay reveal for Destiny 2 on May 18, next Thursday, where we’ll see the game’s gameplay, along with anything that Bungie decides to reveal during that event. So, be on the lookout for Destiny’s May 18 stream to see the game’s gameplay.
