Forza Horizon 3 PC Update Improves CPU Performance, Brings Better CPU Cores Utilization And More
Since the launch of Forza Horizon 3, developer Playground Games has been improving the game with new updates and content. Now the studio has rolled out a new Forza Horizon 3 PC Update that brings some critical improvements for the game including the improved CPU performance on PC.
Forza Horizon 3 PC Update improves the CPU performance for the game when running at 60fps or higher as previously the CPU would become limited. Forza Horizon 3 now runs an increased number of concurrent CPU threads and takes better advantage of DirectX 12 that “allow the visuals to be processed out of order during the frame” to reduce the stall and sync issues and also reduces CPU load.
In addition to this, Forza Horizon 3 PC update also utilizes all available CPU cores better. However, this particular setting can be turned off in the settings menu under “Threaded Optimization”. The PC version also gets new graphical options as gamers will be able to set Dynamic Geometry Quality, and World Car Level of Detail to very low.
Furthermore, the minimum specs for the game have been lowered. The new specs for the game include i3 CPUs and GTX 740/R7 250x GPUs.
Forza Horizon 3 is an open world racing video game developed by Playground Games exclusively for PC and Xbox one. Also, Playground Games is working on a non-racing title, however, nothing has been revealed about the game.
