In order to escape the Deep Storage Morgan jettisoned himself fusing Data Vault B. However, as he gets outside the station, Talos I, comes under complete lockdown and the only way to get in is through the Cargo Bay which Morgan has to access from the outside.

As you make your way to Cargo Bay there will be some places along the way for you to explore, so do that if you like and then go straight to the Cargo Bay but be careful as the way is full of enemies.

Enter Cargo Bay

As you reach towards Cargo Bay you will enter through Cargo Bay which has a massive hull breach giving you the way to get inside. Before you enter, scan the Cargo Bay A for threats there will be multiple Cystoid Nests are attached to the walls and ceiling. As you access the Cargo Bay, Sarah Elazar will contact you again and will tell you that there is no airlock anymore and will suggest Morgan manipulates the shipping containers via the Docking Terminal.

The waypoint for the Docking terminal will appear on your HUD, so move towards it and be careful to not come in contact with any Cystoids in the area. Get the Grant Lockwood’s TranScribe next to the terminal and play the “Container Docking for Dummies” recording to get an idea how to use the terminal and you will have to follow the instructions as told in the recording.

Access the docking terminal and input the handling number of Dr. Igwe’s shipping container which is 2312. A prompt will appear and you will have to select “Dock Shipping Container” and the container will automatically return to the Cargo Bay and docks. Then select “Open Shipping Container” that will open the back of container 2312 which allow you the access to Cargo Bay’s interior.

Enter the container 2312 and open the door through the docking terminal or use the keycode Dr. Igwe sent after you have rescued him. Enter the container and open the door to the Cargo Bay interior. As you enter the Cargo bay, the first area will be Cargo bay staging area and as you enter security officer Austin Cool will draw Morgan’s attention and will tell you that he can’t open the door as there are several phantoms in the area. He will suggest Morgan finds a way to reach the catwalk as the Phantoms pose a threat to the security team.
