PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but when? According to developer PlayerUnknown, they are working hard to port the game on PS4 and Xbox One. The development studio isn’t ready to confirm a final release date and all we have right now is “soon”

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds pits a lot of players against each other in an open world environment. The game has sold over $2 million copies in Early Access and made over $11 million in three days. It is a classic PC game but it will come to consoles soon. According to PlayerUnknown:

We have a team working already on looking to port it to at least the Xbox [One],” the game’s creative director, Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene told us in a recent interview. “We’re looking at both consoles of course, but we have no time frame for both.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is still in early Access for PC so it won’t come to consoles as soon as some may hope. There are still plenty of issues with the game and it needs to refine itself before making it to consoles.  Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds is a competitive multiplayer only game, and the game’s concept is quite similar to that of Hunger Games. 100 players are pitched against one another to be the only survivor at the end. The game generated a wide following on Steam.
