Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles Officially Confirmed, Coming May 16

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles pack has been officially confirmed, and will be coming out on May 16 for the Playstation 4.

A remastering of a large number of Call of Duty Zombie maps has finally been confirmed by Treyarch. The Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles DLC will bring a large number of remastered maps from Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 to consoles.

The DLC pack was originally hinted at by a rating on the ESRB website, but now with the official confirmation via a video from JCBackfire that came from Jason Blundell from Treyarch, the pack is no longer a rumor. Players can expect to see it coming to the Playstation 4 on May 16, with the other platforms following along at a later date.

The Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles pack will include eight of the original maps from the three games stated above; World at War, and the first two Black Ops titles. While there were a great deal more than just eight put in all of those games together, it’s likely Treyarch is focusing on the most popular of the maps.

Altogether, the following maps will be added through the DLC: Nacht der Untoten, Kino Der Toten, Verruckt, and Shi No Numa from World at War, Shangri-La, Ascension, and the Moon from Black Ops, and Origins from Black Ops 2.

A livestream to talk about more details for the Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles DLC will be happening May 8, a Monday, eight days before the DLC actually comes out on May 16. If you’re on the Playstation 4, then congratulations, you’ll get to be the first to play the DLC before it comes out on the Xbox One and the PC.

So, if you’re one of the many Call of Duty players that enjoys the Nazi Zombies mode and can’t wait for the Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles pack to release, you won’t have very long to wait.
