Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles Confirmed By ESRB Website
The official Electronic Software Ratings Board (ESRB) website has confirmed that Treyarch will be releasing a Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. The DLC will contain all four past zombie maps that have been released over the course of the game’s lifetime, and more.
Over the course of Black Ops 3’s lifetime, there have been four different DLC packs released for it. There will possibly be eight maps on the Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles pack, four from the various DLC packs and one, The Giant, releasing as part of the Season Pass (or by itself, if you didn’t buy the Season Pass DLC). Three other remastered maps from other Treyarch games might also come with the pack.
However, even with all five of these zombie maps together, there are still hints that we’ll be getting at least one final zombie map for Black Ops 3. Several weeks ago, the Brazilian voice actor for one of the zombie characters dropped hints that he was working on something for Black Ops 3 on his Instagram.
People might think of such a DLC as superfluous, considering that if you’ve already bought the other Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLCs you would have not only the other Nazi Zombie maps but also the other regular multiplayer maps.
However, if you didn’t buy the DLCs when they first came out, and only wanted the zombie maps, then this DLC pack could be a good thing for you. With the Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles pack you can get all of the zombie maps to play with your friends and, who knows? We might even learn something about that hinted-at new Black Ops 3 DLC soon.
Either way, we’ll have to wait for an official announcement from Activision or Treyarch before we know more about the DLC, so be on the lookout.
