Five Minutes of Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite Gameplay Shows Lots of Characters
Five minutes of Marvel vs Capcom Infinite gameplay has been released onto the internet, showing us some of the moves of a number of the game’s many, many characters. These characters include Thor, Chris Redfield, Ultron, Hawkeye, Hulk, and Strider Hiryu. We also get to see of their abilities.
All of the gameplay is the typical fast-paced fighting of the regular Marvel vs Capcom games, and it makes it seem like it’s going to be just as good as, if not better than, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, hailed as one of the best fighting games ever.
The Marvel vs Capcom Infinite gameplay, as fitting the sort of colorful art style of the series, also looks great. Every attack looks like a light show, not to mention all of the spectacle that goes into the various ultimate moves that each fighter uses.
And these are only a few of the characters that we know are going to be in the game. As seen from the original reveal trailer, eventually we’ll also get to see Mega Man and Supergirl in action, to say nothing of Ultron Sigma, the main antagonist of the game’s story mode.
Plus, with all of the characters that are normally in a Marvel vs Capcom game, the fact that we only saw Chris, Thor, Ultron, Hawkeye, Hulk, Strider, and (though we didn’t see how she played) Chun-Li means that there are still going to be a ton of characters, including Supergirl and Mega Man.
You can see the gameplay yourself, and considering that last week the game finally got a release date for September 16, you’ll only have to wait through the summer before you can get back into the Marvel vs Capcom game.
Marvel vs Capcom Infinite will be available for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
