Destiny 2 fan theory

Bungie has not revealed much about the upcoming Destiny 2 except for the reveal trailer, and since the game’s reveal, fans have been speculating about what could happen in Destiny 2. Now, a new fan theory regarding the game’s story have emerged on the internet, according to this fan theory, Fallen will be allies in Destiny 2.

While Destiny players have experienced the narrative of the game for past two years through its expansions, but there is a deeper narrative for the game in the Destiny’s Grimoire which is also the basis of this fan theory. This fan theory comes from Gamerant, who speculate that Fallen will be allies in Destiny 2.

The evidence for this fan theory is the new Grimoire added in Age of Triumph known as Ghost Fragment: Fallen 6. This Grimoire explains that Fallen are fleeing from Earth and they have burned their banners. According to the fan theory, the reason that Fallen are leaving Earth is because of the Cabal attack on the Last City and the traveler himself.

As the theory goes, traveler once graced Fallen with his powers but eventually abandoned them and was found by humans. The fallen came to earth to reclaim the traveler for themselves but it lead to a conflict and according to this Grimoire the Fallen have given up before Cabal’s attack and that is why Fallen are allying with humans.

There is no doubt that Destiny has a lot of fans and Xbox head, Phil SPencerm is one of them. According to Phil Spencer, Destiny 2 will be much like World Of Warcraft and will be played by gamers years after its release.

But you know, Destiny 2‘s gonna be one of these games that I expect five, six, seven years from now, people are still going to be playing that game. It’s going to be a little bit like WoW. Which you know, whatever its been, 10 years later, 15 years later, millions of people play the game.

Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter in development at Bungie and is scheduled to launch this fall for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also, Bungie will showcase the first gameplay for Destiny 2 on May 18.
