Call of Duty: WWII Reveal Trailer Takes Us Back to Where it All Began
As promised, Activision has shared Call of Duty: WWII reveal trailer with us. The 2 min long trailer features in-game footage and gives a brief look into the main story campaign of the new Call of Duty. Sledgehammer will be hosting a live stream in a matter of minutes to discuss more of the game and its setting as well as the features.
After much rumors and speculations, Activision announced the upcoming Call of Duty: WWII along with its box art. The box art didn’t give us much about the title but there were concerns over it being inspired by Brothers in Arms. Call of Duty: WWII is under development at Sledgehammer Games and the game is releasing in November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title is releasing on November 3, to be exact, and in a recent statement, Activision CEO confirmed that the main campaign will feature an emotional depth, something that had been missing from recent COD games.
The skill based gunplay is back which is going to be the highlight of Call of Duty’s multiplayer this year. Moreover, pre-ordering the game will allow you direct access to the game’s beta. However, players on PlayStation 4 are getting early access, ahead of Xbox One and PC.
PlayStation 4 users will have Call of Duty: WWII timed exclusive maps, according to the game’s listing on Amazon. The timed exclusivity is the result of a partnership between Sony and Activision, the partnership allows Sony to have timed exclusive DLC and access to beta early. This is yet to be outright confirmed by the developers so far but it is safe to say that PlayStation’s partnership expands to exclusive maps as well.
