Star Wars Battlefront 2 VR Support Hinted by Developer
Star Wars Battlefront 2 VR support might be on the cards if a statement from the game’s developer is any indication. When asked about the VR mode for Battlefront 2, Matt Webster, mentioned that the team is not ready to talk about a VR mode but he said it a way which indicates that there might be something in the works.
Matt Webster said: “We are not talking about VR at the moment for Battlefront 2. That’s a story for another day….” The statement is clearly an indication that there is something going on the VR department for Star Wars Battlefront 2. The previous game featured a VR mode that was received pretty well by the community.
The VR mode was exclusive to PlayStation VR so it remains to be seen if same is the case with Star Wars Battlefront 2 VR. Battlefront developer EA had a partnership with PlayStation, it is unclear if the partnership extends to the sequel. Battlefront VR experience was limited to a certain mode last time. EA will discuss more about the game on May 15.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in November. Players can get early access by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition for Battlefront 2. However, the deluxe edition might not be of good value to you compared to EA Access and EA Origin.
Via Access membership, players can get a 10 hours trial for Battlefront 2. The main story, as well as the multiplayer mode, will be on offer. The main story revolves around the Empire’s perspective. The lead role is played by Sleepy Hollow actress Janina Gavankar.
