A couple of Call of Duty: WWII screenshots have leaked via the official website for the game. The images show a party of five soldiers during world war 2. It seems Activision is going for a Band of Brothers like feel for this game. Earlier reports already mention a co-op mode for Call of Duty: WWII which means we will get to play as more than one of these characters.

A leaked image earlier showed some promotional material for the game which mentioned a co-op mode. The text on the promotional material stated: “Call of Duty: WWII’s co-operative mode unleashes a new and original story. Play with your friends in this next-level standalone game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline-pumping moments.”

The main storyline is the primary focus this time around it seems. We don’t know much about the campaign but what we do know is that “Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of an unbreakable brotherhood of common men fighting to preserve freedom in a world on the brink of tyranny. Players enlist in a gritty intense journey through the battlegrounds of war. The campaign features bold, lifelike visuals with the kind of blockbuster cinematic authenticity that only Call of Duty can deliver.”

Sledgehammer released Advanced Warfare back in 2014 and although it wasn’t the best title story wise, the community is showing faith in the studio. The definitive reveal of Call of Duty: WWII is scheduled for next week, April 26.

Meanwhile, rumored release date is November 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Happy with World War 2 setting? Or did you had a better setting in mind? Take to the comments and let us know.
