Halo 3 Anniversary

Just recently we reported that Halo 3 Anniversary might be coming to PC which started a lot of speculation on the internet. However, Halo developer 343 Industries has confirmed that Halo 3 anniversary is not releasing for PC.

The statement comes from 343’s community manager Brian Jarrard, who not only confirmed that Halo 3 is not coming to PC but also confirmed that the game is not being worked at the studio.

I’ve been here just about 6 months now and haven’t ever heard of one single mention of Halo 3 coming to Steam nor Halo 3 anniversary being made. In fact, it’s been completely debunked multiple times over. Sorry to say but there’s no plans nor any work underway to make this happen. (though personally I can’t deny it would be sweet)

The rumor about Halo 3 anniversary coming to PC started just a few days ago when AMD used the Halo 3 artwork of Master Chief during an event showing off its new R5 CPUs.
