Star Wars Battlefront 2 Will Take Us Back to Raxus Prime
Update: Raxus Prime is also the font used by developers. It is unclear at this point if Raxus Prime reference to the font or the classic map itself.
Original Story: Star Wars Battlefront 2 will feature the Raxus Prime map, previously featured in The Force Unleashed in 2008. The deserted planet was mentioned by EA in its official website for Star Wars Battlefront 2.
We were able to spot Raxus Prime in the source code of the official website. Here’s a look:
It is safe to say that this map will be a part of the multiplayer mode but fans would love to visit Raxus Prime as part of the main story as well. Yes, for those who don’t know, Battlefront 2 features a proper single player mode. Unlike Battlefront 2015, the focus is not just multiplayer as the developers are working on a proper storyline.
Other maps from Star Wars Battlefront 2 include Hoth and Takodana. In 3 days time we will know more about the game so stay-tuned.
On a related note, this month we had some exciting news to cover from EA as the company was preparing to reveal Battlefront 2. However, someone thought it would be a great idea to spoil EA’s plans and he leaked Star Wars Battlefront 2 teaser trailer early.
Well, while EA may not be happy about what happened, the community looks excited for things to come. The footage holds plenty of surprises and brings us some memorable characters including Master Yoda and Darth Maul.
We did a trailer breakdown to reveal some details that may have slipped the eye. Head over here to check out the Battlefront 2 trailer breakdown.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime later this year. The rumored release window suggest a September release.
