Nintendo Bringing Standalone Nintendo Switch Dock Next Month

Nintendo has announced that Nintendo Switch users will be able to purchase the dock for the hybrid console separately.

The dock will be available in limited quantities starting from May 19 in North America. Nintendo Switch dock will be priced at $89.99 and will include the dock, AC adapter, and an HDMI cable.

This will allow the Nintendo Switch owners to use the console on multiple TVs without the need to unplug the dock when they want to change the setup.

In related news, Nintendo has announced that it will grant hackers up to $20,000 for finding and reporting any flaws and vulnerabilities in the new hybrid console. Nintendo has partnered with HackerOne to find security loopholes & vulnerabilities in Nintendo Switch system.

If the submitted flaws are worth consideration, Nintendo will pay the exploiter a bounty ranging between $100 to $20,000. This amount varies, depending on a number of factors.

Also, Nintendo has revealed that it is working on multiple new IPs for Nintendo Switch. According to Nintendo’s Shinya Takahashi, the company is already developing multiple new IPs for Switch. He added that there are titles that will take full advantage of the Joy-con controllers.

Since the launch of the hybrid consoles, gamers are wondering if games like Overwatch, Rocket League and more will come to the console. According to Psyonix, they are considering to bring Rocket League to Switch.

According to Vice President Jeremy Dunham, Psyonix is a community-based company, and they keep into consideration, what the community wants, and what the community needs, before expanding any further. However, the game will only be released for Nintendo Switch if the community demands it.

Nintendo Switch is now available worldwide and is available for $299.99 in the US.
