Since the launch of Nintendo Switch there have many third party titles released for it and now Minecraft is among those titles.

Microsoft has announced that Minecraft will launch for Nintendo Switch on May 11. The game will launch only digitally and will launch physically at a later date.

Minecraft for Nintendo Switch will feature various technical improvements, new multiplayer options and will come with Super Mario Skin pack. Microsoft is yet to announce the price for the game.

Speaking of third party games on Switch, Psyonix has announced that they are considering to bring Rocket League to Switch.

According to Vice President Jeremy Dunham, Psyonix is a community-based company, and they keep into consideration, what the community wants, and what the community needs, before expanding any further. However, the game will only be released for Nintendo Switch if the community demands it.

Just like all the other platforms, we are evaluating it. We’re looking to see what the technical requirements are.

We’re looking to see what kind of true community demand there is. We’re looking to see how it would benefit the community as a whole. So we’re still in that evaluation phase. It’s definitely too early to say that it wouldn’t happen, but it’s also definitely too early to say that it would.

Minecraft is a sandbox construction game developed by Mojang for PC, Xbox One and mobile devices.
