New Uncharted: The Lost Legacy footage

A few minutes of new Uncharted: The Lost Legacy footage has been put onto the internet by Naughty Dog, showing a cutscene from the standalone Uncharted 4 expansion.

The game itself also now has a release date, releasing exclusively on the Playstation 4 on August 23. It also includes a pre-order bonus.

The new footage is a cutscene that shows the expansion’s central characters, Namine and Chloe, sailing down a river in India as they talk over how to find the Tusk of Ganesh, the artifact of the day. Fitting with the Uncharted games it involves numerous books, maps, and a little engraved disc that is far more than it seems.

The search for the Tusk will be the central plot of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, as Chloe and Namine make their way through a brutal civil war in India along with fighting off a mercenary group that also wants the tusk.

From what we’ve seen in both the new Uncharted: The Lost Legacy footage and the original gameplay shown at the Game Awards, however, it won’t be easy.

Namine and Chloe will have to go through the requisite Uncharted obstacles of trap-filled ruins, puzzles, dozens of men with guns, and more.

Adding into the new Uncharted: The Lost Legacy footage is that the game finally has a release date. The game will be releasing on August 23, and will also come with an added bonus if you pre-order it.

You’ll be getting a free digital download code for the Playstation 4 version of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.

With new versions of all four mainline Jak and Daxter games being worked on for the Playstation 4, Playstation gamers will have another Naughty Dog gem to look forward to even with Uncharted now finally wrapping up. Players will also get a custom Jak and Daxter Playstation 4 theme.
