Gamers that are not familiar with Sense of Wonder Night, this is a project in which ideas for games are showcased. In simple words, developers present their new ideas for games and if the idea is good then a company sponsors it.

Its basic aim is to showcase original demos for games that are in development to further secure funding for their projects. New ideas are demonstrated here every year with the best one catching the eyes of both the audience and sponsors.

Sony has been active in the recent years to support Indie game developers covering their full expenses. This move made by sony is seen as a good strategy. Because if the ideas are good they can make a game out of them and if they are bad they can give it out for free.
