Nioh DLC Dragon Of The North Gets a Release Date. PvP Feature Coming
Koei Tecmo just announced the release of Nioh DLC titled The Dragon Of Tohoku, the DLC is due for release in Japan and West. In the West, this DLC is named Dragon of the North. *irony*
The price of this DLC in japan would be 1,300 yen+S.T, it will feature a new scenario, new weapons, new character, new guardian spirit, new yokai, and new stages.
With the new Nioh DLC Koei Tecmo will also release an online PvP feature and some more features that are currently a mystery.
The Dragon of Tohoku will include Date Masamune, one of Japan’s most prominent warriors from the Edo period. Players might know him from games such as Samurai Warriors/ Sengoku Musou, Sengoku Basara, Onimusha Soul and anime series like Brave 10, Sengoku Basara tv series.
It is safe to say he is one of the most famous historical figures, and no matter if it’s a game or an anime, Date Masamune is always freaking awesome, so that is one thing that might remain unchanged.
The addition of Date Masamune to Nioh DLC is almost perfect since the man is considered no less than a monster himself if you are familiar with this character, you know what I am talking about.
It is quite obvious that the new guardian spirit is going to be a dragon. Since Date Masamune is also known as “Dokuganryu” the one-eyed dragon.
What remains to be seen is what type of gear and skill will he display? He has been given a unique type of skill in the past adaptation just to raise his prominence so Nioh DLC is also expected to do something similar to him.
The DLC is going to release on May 2nd, 2017 (rather late than the initially announced late April) and with so many known and unknown features to look forward to, this DLC is going to be great.
