Gears Of War 4 Officially Confirmed For Japanese Release
Following the release of the cinematic trailer for Gears Of War 4 this Sunday, Microsoft has officially confirmed that Gears Of War 4 is coming to Japan and it won’t be censored, unlike the previous titles’ Japanese release.
Microsoft has confirmed that Gears Of War 4 will release on May 25, 2017, in Japan and the pre-orders for the game has already begun.
The physical version of the game for Xbox One is available for 5,900 yen, the digital standard version of the game is available for 5,463 yen and the Ultimate Edition that also includes the season pass is available for 9,167 yen.
Furthermore, those who pre-order the game will receive the Vintage Del pack as the pre-order bonus.
Microsoft has confirmed that Gears Of War 4 has managed to obtain a CERO Z rating for the game (18+, legally enforced) without any censorship.
In related news, ex- Epic Games creator Cliff Bleszinski recently revealed that during the development of Gears of War 3, he considered setting the game on Earth.
