Gamers are eagerly awaiting for some new details about the Kojima’s upcoming game, Death Stranding. There has been speculation over the internet that Stefanie Joosten, who played Quiet in Metal Gear Solid V, is involved with the game.

During the Dutch Comic Con 2017, Stefanie Joosten was present at the event promoting a feature film. During the event, she was asked if the rumor about her involvement in Death Stranding are true and if she is really working with Hideo Kojima.

To this Stefanie Joosten replied that “I can’t say anything about that, unfortunately” and the person who asked the question said, “that’s saying enough”.

While she did not confirm her involvement, she did not outright deny the speculation which might indicate that she might be playing a part in Death Stranding.

Furthermore, recently there was a rumor running wild on the internet that Oscar winner actress, Emma Stone, is involved with the game and there were a couple of leaks backing the rumor.

However, the leak turned out to be fake as alleged leaked pictures of Emma Stone’s character in Death Stranding came from a YouTube channel.

Recently, Hideo Kojima revealed the reason behind choosing to develop Death Stranding after leaving Konami. According to Kojima, this was his best idea for the gaming market at that time.

I come up with new ideas every day and they all override each other. I had several at the front of my mind, and we ended up choosing the game that – first of all – would be best for the market, and the one we were most enthusiastic about making. That was Death Stranding.

Death Stranding is an upcoming action-adventure game in development at Kojima Productions exclusively for PlayStation 4.
