Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey Announced for 3DS for Fall 2017

Atlus during their announcement of new titles revealed that, Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey, that is a refined version of Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey, will be released in 2017.

Atlus, did not go into any specific details, however, they shared that Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey, will be using the 2009 RPG as a base game, and will be adding new content to it.

The game will feel just as new, and will be adding some more features that will make it easier to play.

Story will feature a future, where various problems still have not been solved, environmental destruction and ethnic conflicts are everywhere.

Schwarzwelt, a ruined land that appeared in the Antarctic, will continue to expand while swallowing everything on the earth into nonexistence, is this how mankind will meet its end?

Hoping for humanity’s survival, a strike team is sent to this mysterious land, however, the things they witness, will reveal the terrible truth of Schwarzwelt.

The main protagonist is voiced by Jun Hirose, Gore is voiced by Unsho Ishizuka, Jimenez is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, Zelenin is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto, the game will also feature a new character, Alex who is voiced by Megumi Han.

Alex is a mysterious girl who suddenly attacks the protagonist during exploration of Schwarzwelt, what is her goal in targeting the life of the protagonist with such open hostility, this is something the players will have to find out for themselves.

This game is a must play for every Shin Megami Tensei fan! It’s that popular title with new elements added and various elements brushed up for 3DS.

In this game you will be able to enjoy, a dramatic story with new illustrations, also about 350 new demons will appear for a “deeper” demon experience, a new character named Alex will appear, as well as a new ending.

Shin Megami Tensei Deep Strange Journey, will release in japan in fall of 2017, for 3DS. So for all Shin Megami Tensei fans get ready, for an old adventure with a new twist.
