#1 Mass Effect Andromeda Black Screen Fix
There have been reports that corsair utility engine software can cause the black screen on startup. Try to uninstall it temporarily to see if that’s the issue. If you have all the updates installed, it should not present any problem.
If that doesn’t work, you should try to run the game in windowed mode (Alt + Enter). Make sure that your screen resolution/refresh rate is same as that of your monitor.
#2 Mass Effect Andromeda Stuttering Fix
First things first, make sure that your drivers are up to date. If that’s not the issue, you should try to uninstall AsusGameFirstService.exe on your system or rather disable it. If there are any other third party applications running in the background, try shutting them down.
#3 Mass Effect Andromeda Animation Bug, Stuck
If you are stuck during the dialogue or somewhere else, you should try to switch between combat and exploration mode. This should resolve the issue until it’s fixed permanently with an update.
You can also use fast travel option to get out of a position if you are stuck there.

#6 Mass Effect Andromeda Freezing Issue
If you are using a gamepad (ASUS or something else), try disabling it as there have been reports that disabling the gamepads could fix the freezing/stuttering issue. It goes without saying that your drivers should be up to date.

If you are getting this error, then you need to run the executable files in your redist folder. Restart your PC and the game should work fine. If that doesn’t work, try verifying your game files.
#8 Mass Effect Andromeda Screen Resolution Issue, Wrong Resolution Detected
There have been some reports that Screen Resolution is not being saved as it’s supposed to. If you are having the issue too, you could try out the following:
- Go to your “Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Andromeda\Save” folder.
- Open the “ProfOpts_profile” with notepad.
- Search for the line “GstRender.ResolutionWidth” and set it to “1920”
- Search for the line “GstRender.ResolutionHeight” and set it to “1080”
The numbers ofcourse are for you resolution. Once you have made the changes, save it and make sure to mark the file as “read-only”. Run the game and see if it works. Some users have also reported that the wrong resolution is solved by updating the drivers.
#9 Mass Effect Andromeda Performance Issues
If you are getting low fps/poor performance both in terms of video and audio, you should try two things. First, if you have any gamepad attached, disable it. If that doesn’t work, you should try to disable shadowlplay or any third party programs you have running in the background.
Again, if your drivers aren’t up to date, performance issues could be prevalent.

#11 Mass Effect Andromeda Windows 10 PC Lag Fix
It has been reported that windows defender and firewall could block Mass Effect Andromeda’s normal functioning. In that case, you should try to add exceptions for the game and origin in your firewall or may be disable them (not recommended) to get rid of the lag/connection issues.
#12 Mass Effect Andromeda Co-op Crash
Make sure that you have all the updates installed as the latest update seems to have fixed the issue for many.
