Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer Guide to help you learn the multiplayer component of the game with our tips and strategies.
The multiplayer component of Mass Effect Andromeda is massive and requires teamwork, communication, and specific strategies. In this guide, we’ve detailed some of our tips and strategies to help you out.
Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer Guide
In our Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer Guide, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about playing and mastering the multiplayer aspect of the game.
Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer – Practice Makes Perfect!
When it comes to Mass Effect Andromeda, there are quite a lot of characters to choose from. Each of these characters has unique abilities and bring something different to the field.
On top of it, the multiplayer maps are pretty different from one another and require different strategies. On the positive side, the game offers a robust tutorial mission that should help you get started.
Even if you’re a Mass Effect veteran, I recommend checking out the tutorial mission – at least once.
Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer – Cover and Mobility
In Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer, the importance of cover can’t be undermined. There isn’t a separate key assigned to cover. All you need to do to get behind cover is to get behind an object and that’s it!
It should allow you to avoid damage for a while and let your shield recharge before diving back into the battle. Another thing that you should practice is to be on the move.
Now that we’ve established that cover is an important aspect of the multiplayer experience, you always need to avoid staying in one place as it will get you flanked and caught over and over again.
In order to avoid it, you need to score a couple of kills, change your position, rinse and repeat.
Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer – Teamwork and Communication
This is a no-brainer but let me reiterate it once again. You need to be well-coordinated as a team and constantly communicate if you wish to do well in a match. Obviously, I’m not asking you to mimic pro players, but little things e.g. giving calls, letting your teammates what you’re upto, etc. should do the job.
With good communication, you’ll be able to understand flanks, enemy positions, and map movements in a much better way! Another thing that goes well with communication is teamwork.
You need to remember that going in solo will get you killed 99% of the times. I suggest splitting into two groups instead of dispersing everywhere and giving your teammates constant calls to help each other out.
Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer – Play to your Strengths
As mentioned earlier, there are quite a lot of characters to choose from and each of these characters bring something unique to the field. It’s a good idea to make active use of these abilities which should allow you to gain an edge in combat.
There are some abilities which work really well with other. Due to this, you should definitely consider trying out different characters which will not only enable you to learn all about different match-ups but also allow you learn combos.
I also recommend checking out my Skills and Abilities Guide attached above for more information!
Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer – Rushing
The final thing you should always keep in mind is to avoid rushing to extraction. Once again, try and split into groups of two and eliminate as many enemies as possible before rushing to the safe zone at the last possible seconds.
