New Xbox One Scorpio leak

Microsoft will fully reveal the Xbox One Scorpio this year and the console will launch this year during the Holiday season. Devs have been praising the console for its 4K capabilities and only a handful of third party games are confirmed for Xbox One Scorpio and Skyrim and Fallout 4 have been added to this list.

Speaking with Glixel, Todd Howard, the director and executive producer at Bethesda confirmed that Skyrim and Fallout 4 will be patched to Xbox One Scorpio.

We just wrapped up updating Fallout 4 for the PS4 Pro. We’re used to that in the PC world. We can update the games, and people keep playing it. Microsoft’s Scorpio is coming next year, and we’ll update Fallout 4 and Skyrim for that. That’s our hope, that these consoles keep that spirit going forward. It’s also the pride of ownership. I like browsing my library of games. Whether it’s on the shelf physically or digitally, that’s all my stuff. And I don’t want to feel like I could lose it, or it has no value, other than sitting there.

However, these are not the only games confirmed for the console as Warner Bros has confirmed that Shadow Of War will be available for Project Scorpio when it launches.

Not only this Shadow Of War is also a Play Anywhere title meaning if you buy it for PC from Microsoft Store you will be able to play the game on Xbox One.

All of this is hardly surprising given that Monolith Productions has praised the system as the most powerful console ever.

Xbox One Scorpio is expected to be revealed at this year’s E3 and Microsoft has been marketing the console as native 4K capable with 6 TFLOPs of computational power.
