Mass Effect Andromeda Ryder Customization of Both Twins Will Be Possible On Release
Continuing with the original character creation from the last Mass Effect trilogy, BioWare has said that Mass Effect Andromeda Ryder customization will also be a part of the game.
Gamers will be able to customize whatever Ryder twin they play, as they were able to do with Commander Shepard.
A significant part of BioWare’s RPGs is character customization, where players customize the look of the character before they start the game. Mass Effect Andromeda won’t be breaking this condition.
While BioWare has mainly shown what appears to be the default Ryder faces in the trailers they’ve shown for the game, the characters will be customizable.
The last BioWare game where the main character had visible family members that were an important part of the story was Dragon Age 2, where Hawke, the protagonist, would have either his brother Carver or his sister Bethany survive depending on their class.
While BioWare has previously said that the other Ryder sibling would still figure into the story, they likely won’t be part of the player’s party.
We don’t know if the Mass Effect Andromeda Ryder customization will be available for both siblings. While the Ryders are fraternal twins (since one is a man and one is a woman) and so them looking alike isn’t really an issue, some players may want to still make them look as alike as possible.
Whether we’ll be able to customize both (even the one we’re not playing) hasn’t really been said yet.
Mass Effect Andromeda comes out on March 21 and March 23 in North America and Europe, respectively.
When the game finally comes out, we’ll be able to see the Mass Effect Andromeda Ryder customization up close, and see if we can customize just one or both of the Ryder twins. In the meantime, we can look ford to the game coming out week after next.
