Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy May Not Be Timed PS4 Exclusive After All

According to a recently leaked image, it was once again discussed at length, however, this may not be the case after all.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy was announced last year at E3 2016. The title was confirmed by Sony Interactive Entertainment during its press event, Adam Boyes took the stage and reveal the “built from the ground up” Bandicoot return.

Crash is a property owned by Activision and ever since its announcement a number of reports mentioned that it may very well be a timed exclusive. According to a recently leaked image, it was once again discussed at length, however, this may not be the case after all.

The leaked image was from a Best Buy in Canada where they staff placed a Box Art for Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy that mentioned its 1-year exclusivity. But it is now being reported that this image was old and inaccurate. The Best Buy has also removed this box art from the store after their mistake was pointed out.

This indicates that Crash may not be a timed exclusive to PS4. This news follows another promotional image from Sony which mentioned Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy as an exclusive title. We still can’t be sure of it as this could be marketing error on Sony’s part. We will know more about Crash and his adventures this E3.

Crash Bandicoot is releasing on PlayStation 4 on June 30th. Depending on the success of this remake, Activision might work on a new game in the series with Sony Interactive Entertainment. However, it is unlikely to happen anytime soon.
