First Week Of Nintendo Switch Game Sales In Japan

Nintendo Switch has launched along with a slew of launch titles and many of you might be wondering that how well the games sold for the newly launched console. Well, a new report has been spotted online that details that sales figures for Nintendo Switch games.

The report comes from Media Create, and according to the report, five of the top ten games that made it to the top tens in the Japan are Nintendo Switch games. The sales figures are for the week of February 27 to March 5.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is the Switch game that made it to the no 10 spot on the list with 12,854 copies sold. Dragon Quest Heroes 1 – II was at number 7 with 25,606 copies sold, Super Bomberman R sold 36,623 copies and made it to the no 6 spot.

1-2-Switch made it to the no 3 spot with 79,536 copies sold and Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild made it to the no 1 spot with 186,379 copies sold in the Japan for its launch week.

Furthermore, between Nintendo Switch and Wii U versions of Legend Of Zelda Brath Of The Wild the game sold a total of 230,991 copies in Japan.

Nintendo Switch is now available worldwide and is priced at $299.99 in the US.
