Nintendo Switch US Sales for the Weekend Best in Nintendo History
Nintendo Switch is out now in the United States and Nintendo must be pretty happy with the way things are going. According to the latest from Nintendo, Nintendo Switch US sales for the first weekend are best in the company’s history.
Nick Wingfield, New York Times reporter, quoted Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo on Twitter.
2. Fri-Sat sales for Nintendo Switch exceeded first 2-day sales in Americas for any system in Nintendo history. Next biggest was Wii.

Nintendo Switch released for $299 and the initial rush of sales are pushing the install base. However, a sustainable flow of sales is required for Nintendo Switch to succeed.
On a related note, Nintendo Switch released with a handful of games. The system is bringing cartridges back in a new way and in a weird but sensible move, the company has coated these cartridges with a chemical that tastes horrible.
It is not recommended that you get that thing anywhere near your mouth. We don’t know what materials are used to develop and it why it tastes so bad. Be careful and Do NOT Try This At Home.
