No, Xbox Game Pass Is Not Coming To PC

Some websites reported that Xbox Game Pass was coming to PC too, as firstly confirmed by the service's FAQ. But that's not the case.

Xbox Game Pass is a Netflix-style subscription service that will allow users to play more than 100 titles on Xbox One, with a monthly cost of $9.99. Some websites reported that Xbox Game Pass was coming to PC too, as firstly confirmed by the service’s FAQ:

Xbox Game Pass will only be available on Xbox One and Windows 10 devices

The statement has been since edited to say that the service will be available for Xbox One only, so the rumor is fake.

Microsoft puts players in the center of everything they do and that’s why they have created the Xbox Game Pass.

After the announcement of the service, Microsoft has detailed the first titles that will be playable on Xbox Game Pass. They include:

  • A Kingdom for Keflings
  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Comic Jumper
  • Dark Void
  • Defense Grid 2
  • Gears of War Judgement
  • Gears of War Ultimate Edition
  • Halo: Spartan Assault
  • Hexic 2
  • Jetpac Refuelled
  • Kameo
  • Max: The Curse of Brotherhood
  • Monday Night Combat
  • Ms. Splosion Man
  • OF: Dragon Rising
  • Perfect Dark Zero
  • Sacred 3
  • Sam & Max Beyond Time
  • Sunset Overdrive
  • The Maw
  • Viva Pinata
  • Halo 5
  • Saints Row 4
  • Mad Max
  • NBA 2K16
  • Lego Batman
  • Mega Man Legacy Collection
  • Terraria
  • Payday 2
  • Fable 3
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Even if the service won’t be available for PC at launch, we strongly believe it will come to this platform anyway. There are a lot of PC players out there and Microsoft probably wants to see how things go with Xbox One users before opening to a so huge crowd.

Xbox Game Pass will launch in Spring 2017.
