Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja has announced Nioh sales and according to the data, the game has gone past one million copies around the world. Nioh sales one million sales include both digital and physical sales for PlayStation 4.

Nioh released on PlayStation 4 earlier this month and have had stellar reviews. Many call it a Souls clone and admittedly Nioh does share some Souls DNA.

However, developers nailed it on the head and managed to create a clone that can hold its own ground. Nioh currently stands at 87 Metacritic score.

Those who played Dark Souls are going to feel right at home when playing Nioh. It is a perfect mix of hack n slash and Dark Souls like universe. You are dropped into a challenging and unforgiving world filled with creatures of all kinds, however, there is a perfect balance so that you don’t feel overwhelmed or frustrated by failure.

Nioh is now available on PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store or you can head to your nearest retailer to grab a physical copy.

Nioh has seen a decent amount of success and it would be a shame if we never see a sequel. It is possible that the sequel has already been greenlit by the publisher.
