Nintendo has sent out the Nintendo Switch to reviewers and soon we will know what Nintendo has to offer with its upcoming console. However, Nintendo Switch press kits also include messages penned by Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo Europe president Satoru Shibata and Breath of the Wild director Hidemaro Fujibayashi.

Reggie started by saying that “The future is now in your hands”. He added that hardware launch is a very special moment for Nintendo as these moments gives them the “opportunity to reflect on where we’ve been before taking a bold new step ahead”.

He further explained that Nintendo has done everything it could to ensure that Nintendo Switch is supported by a steady stream of content that includes The Legend of Zelda, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey and all the game scheduled to launch later this year.

For those wondering how long the battery life for the hybrid console will last, according to a report, the battery for Nintendo Switch will last for 2 hours and 28 minutes while playing Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild with all settings turned on.

The controller for the console will come with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that will last for 40 hours. Also, the controllers will link up using the USB-cable instead of sync-buttons.

Nintendo Switch is scheduled to launch on March 3, 2017, and will be priced at $299.99.
