Microsoft Announces Xbox E3 2017 Briefing Date: June 11, 2PM EST
Microsoft has already announced the date that the Xbox E3 2017 briefing will be at: June 11 at 2PM, Eastern Standard Time. It’s likely that Microsoft will be bringing up a wide variety of different things that we can expect from it in the coming year, not only on the regular Xbox One but also the Scorpio.
It’s likely that with this shift in time (where the previous E3 Xbox briefing happened on June 13), Xbox will be coming on ahead of most of the other conferences that are also going to be happening at E3. This means that Microsoft and Xbox will be bringing out all of its stuff ahead of the rest of E3 at its Xbox E3 2017 briefing.
Last year gave Microsoft a good deal of publicity and press as we got gameplay for Gears of War 4, Battlefield 1, Final Fantasy 15, Halo Wars 2, and Inside, along with introducing a good amount of new technology, such as the Xbox One S and the Xbox One Scorpio, which gave players more ways to get into the Xbox gaming scene with both a more portable version of the Xbox One, and an upgraded version of the Xbox One.
With all of the other conferences that are going to be happening at E3, not just in terms of PC gaming but also with the Playstation and a number of the industry giants like Ubisoft, Bethesda, EA, and Nintendo, Microsoft making an impression right off the bat is going to be important, especially if any of the more anticipated games on any of the consoles like God of War 4, whatever new Call of Duty game is announced, and more are going to be trying to get the spotlight.
However, since Microsoft hasn’t said exactly what they’re going to be showing off at the Xbox E3 2017 briefing, we’ll just have to wait until June and E3 in order to see.
