For Honor Berserker Blocking

Blocking as Berserker is a tad advanced as compared to other classes.

The rule of simply pointing the right analogue stick in the direction of an incoming (up, left, right) does not apply to the Berserker. As mentioned earlier, blocking as Berserker is a little complicated.

In order to execute a successful block, you need to press the right analogue stick after moving it in the direction of an incoming attack.

It’s important that you do it before the attack connects. You should’ve ample time to do so properly.

For Honor Berserker Special Attack – Deflecting

Deflecting is easily one of the Berserker’s many strengths and is pretty simple to execute.

When executed at a proper time, deflecting as Berserker allows you to successfully carry out a Guard Break followed by one or several attacks; preferably light attack. As mentioned earlier, deflecting as Berserker is fairly simple.

In order to do so, dodge in the direction of an incoming attack – before it actually connects – and immediately press the Guard Break button.

For Honor Berserker Special Attacks – Depleting Opponent’s Stamina

Another powerful tool at Berserker’s disposal is the ability to drain his opponent’s stamina using the Forward Throw.

During the course of a skirmish, you need to keep a close eye out on your opponent’s stamina meter and as soon as you see it dropping low, head in with a forward throw to drain it completely and leave him/her at a major disadvantage.

There are multiple ways of punishing your opponents for having no stamina e.g. uninterrupted Guard Break, chain attacks, etc.

For Honor Berserker Movement and Dodging Tips

Thanks to your enhanced mobility, you’re at the liberty to simply dodge away instead of blocking.

There are a couple of benefits of doing so. Firstly, if you manage to time your dodge in the direction of an incoming attack properly, you’ll deflect the attack leading to a Guard Break or multiple follow-up attacks.

However, even if you don’t pull off a well-timed dodge, you should easily be able to force your opponent into whiffing their attacks.

On the other hand, if you’re about to whiff an attack, note that you can always cancel your attack by dodging to any side. In order to pull off a successful attack cancellation, simply press the dodge button and you should be good to go.

Finally, in case you’re bested in a duel, don’t simply run back and try to execute a backward Zone Attack.

It’s a pretty simple attack which can be executed by pressing Light Attack + Heavy Attack + Down. It does, however, cost a lot of stamina so don’t try to spam it. If you manage to pull it off while getting chased down, you should be able to get away without any trouble.

For Honor Berserker Abilities – Dance of the Paired Blades

It goes without saying that the Dance of the Paired Blades is the best tool available at Berserker’s disposal.

This ability basically allows Berserker to launch a seemingly endless mix of attacks until the stamina lasts. On top of it, every fifth attack becomes uninterruptible and costs less stamina.

Only if it does not deal a whole lot of damage, it should definitely force your opponents into blocking, dodging, or even running away.

It’s a pretty good ability and should be mastered by anyone who wishes to main Berserker. It is, however, important to note that the Dance of the Paired Blades cannot begin with a Top Heavy Attack and immediately ends if you go with Top Heavy Attack.

For Honor Berserker Counters and Match-ups

One of the first things you need to know about Berserker is that the class does not boast a decent range.

Due to this, the class tends to struggle against heroes with long reach poke. You need to take advantage of this and try to remain at a safe distance to lessen any advantage that Berserker players can have over you.

It’s also important to note that every fifth attack of the Dance of the Paired Blades is uninterruptable so don’t try to block.

Since you cannot interrupt every fifth attack from the Dance of the Paired Blades, you either need to dodge away or simply move to another location. Do so and you should be good to go.

Another weakness of Berserker is the inability to quickly recover after being blocked.

Keeping this in mind, you should always try and block a Light Attack from Berserk which should allow you to follow-up with a successful Guard Break and dish out a massive amount of damage before backing off.

Due to this, if you know your opponent is good at blocking light attacks; tread carefully!
