The Iga Escape

As the mission begins, go forward and just left of the house you will find a shrine. Go straight into the structure and break the wall then take out the Ninja. Clear the room and destroy the next wall section and head left down the hallway.

In this room, you will find two Ninjas and instead of taking them both on just use a ranges weapon to headshot one of them, then kill the other. You will find another ninja in the next room, defeat it and exit the room and go left up the stairs.

You will come to another room where there will be another ninja, kill it and to the right trigger the revolving wall that leads you to a room with a large chest and a ladder you can take up. Go up the ladder ad head right but be careful of the Ninja who will ambush you right away as you enter the room.

Head to your left through the opening to find a fiend across the way. Take it out but be careful tat you don’t go through the trap door. On the opposite side, you can take a doorway out and then go down and watch out for the Ninja that will attack you.

At the bottom, you will find a Yokai in the room, and there will another revolving door, so activate it and proceed to the next area and destroy the wall ahead to reveal a room with a large green crystal. Destroy the crystal and then destroy the wall panel just beyond it and step outside.

Head down the stairs and go left and you will find a door that will open up a shortcut. Open it and make your way back to the courtyard and take out the ninja that ambushes you.

Go back up the stairs of the house and stay to the left p to take the long walkway network across to the other side of the area and take out enemies along the way. At the end enter the opening into the structure and you will find a shrine in there.

Exit the shrine and proceed right up the stairs to defeat yet another ninja. Follow the path to the right and open the sliding door and go left to the corner. Drop down from here and avoiding the spike hazard enter the room on the left to find a shadow realm yokai.

Watch out the hole in the floor here and defeat the Yokai and carefully drop down the hole to the beam below. Make your way carefully to a long plank across the center of this section that slopes up.

Just go up and open a set of doors and destroy the screen. Make your way back to the beam and drop down to the plank below and then on the ground. Take out the archer who is above and reveal the shadow realm yokai. Kill it and open the double doors to the next room.

In the next room. you will find some spiders kill them and then proceed, however, be careful entering the next room as it has spike trap that will come down on you from above.

Don’t just go charging in instead stay on the planked parameter. Wait for it to drop and proceed to the next level to reach another section where you will face a spider. Head out the doorway to the left and then down the hall.

Straight ahead you will have to destroy a wall to face a yokai with a chest and you can smash the wall on the right and then the next ahead to come to a room with a revolving door. Activate the revolving door and take the path to the left where you will find another revolving door.

Trigger it and enter the next room and kill the enemy the pops up ahead. After killing it destroy the wall, there is a Nurikabe in this room that you can attempt to appease with Gestures or else it will attack you. After defeating it the Hot Spring will be revealed.

Exit the Hot Spring, head straight the way you came and head right and then right again. Down this hallway take the first left into the doorway. This room will have a lot of from statues and across the room open the double door to trigger the Giant Toad Boss Fight.

The Giant Toad Boss Tips

The Giant Toad Boss Fight in Nioh is a tricky one and also a frustrating one too. During the first phase of the Giant Toad boss fight, you must attack in-between his attacks. In this phase, the boss doesn’t attack often, but the occasional attacks hurt a lot so always make sure to dodge away.

After dodging and attack immediately close the gap between yourself and the Giant Toad and land a couple of quick attacks and back off again. This will help yu to easily complete the first phase without risking much.

The second phase of the Giant Toad Boss fight is a tough one. In the phase, the boss will attack often and will toss bombs at you which hurt pretty bad. Just be patient and keep your cool if you die in this phase.

All you have to do is find opportunities to land your attacks and if you stick with the strategy you will be able to defeat The Giant Toad.
