Last month developer From Software announced the second and final piece of DLC for Dark Souls 3 titled “The Ringed City”. Now the devs have revealed the first Dark Souls 3 The Ringed City gameplay that gives us a glimpse of what to expect from it.
Dark Souls 3 The Ringed city gameplay showcases different areas and enemies that will be available in the DLC, and by the looks of it, it is going to be awesome. From Software describes the DLC as:
Fear not the dark, ashen one. Journey to the world’s end to search for the Ringed City and encounter new lands, new bosses, new enemies with new armor, magic and items. Experience the epic final chapter of a dark world that could only be created by the mind of Hidetaka Miyazaki.
Dark Souls 3 is the last entry in the Dark Souls franchise. According to From Software president Hidetaka Miyazaki, it is time for the team to move on from the franchise, however, he said that as a president he can’t deny the possibility of the return of the franchise.
It’s time to move away from the Dark Souls franchise. As president of From Software, I’m not completely denying the possibility of bringing back the franchise in the future. There could be someone else in my company who wants to work on new installments. But we believe that the series will end after the two DLC.
Dark Souls 3 The Ringed City DLC will be available on March 28th, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
