AMD Ryzen Shipment Date

Taobao is a site in China that is like Amazon or Ebay and it seems that there was a posting there that may have just leaked the AMD Ryzen shipment date. This posting has been removed now but you cannot hide things from the internet, as it has been the base in the previous posting as well. You can see the posting screenshot here for proof.

According to the posting, the AMD Ryzen shipment date is set for February 28th which is ahead of the March date that we know of. The posting shows that the AMD Ryzen CPU has a clock speed of 4.2 GHz and the price is set to roughly 272 EUR. This clock speed must be the boost clock as it is too high to be the base frequency.

Another thing that is interesting to note is that the posting has been made by AMD Shangai, which I think is not the official AMD products seller but still. Seeing how this post has leaked so close to launch is interesting. I do not know if we will be getting the AMD Ryzen CPUs by the end of the month or early March and this posting has confused me a bit.

We will have to wait and see for the official word before we can take something seriously and you too should take this listing with a grain of salt as this could easily have been some kind of scam. Whatever the case maybe I for one am very excited about the launch of AMD Ryzen CPUs and it will be interesting to see how these CPUs compete against what Intel has to offer.

Let us know what you think about this AMD Ryzen shipment date and whether or not you think this will be a great year for AMD with their upcoming Ryzen CPUs and Vega GPUs.
