Horizon Zero Dawn’s Map Has Been Revealed By A Leak, And It’s Massive

Horizon Zero Dawn's map has been revealed via a leak on YouTube, and it looks like it's absolutely enormous, and will likely have a lot of stuff in it.

A leak from a YouTube video has revealed Horizon Zero Dawn’s map in full for the first time, and it’s a pretty big one. The game, which will be coming out around the end of February and beginning of March for North America and Europe, will be taking place in a post-apocalyptic Colorado.

The size of the map came from a video that the YouTube channel MeriStation posted that showed off gameplay from the game, including a period where they look at the map. That bit was quickly removed from the video, but an eagle-eyed viewer managed to take some screenshots.

While the MariStation players never leave the section that’s actually highlighted, they do zoom out and see how absolutely massive the rest of the map actually is, leaving no doubt in many players’ minds that the game is going to be filled with stuff to do.

As the huntress Aloy, players will be going all around Horizon Zero Dawn’s map in order to uncover the mysteries behind this post-apocalyptic world, whether riding on foot or on the robotic animals that have come to rule the world now that humanity is no longer at the top of the food chain. As she travels and uncovers mysteries, Aloy will also have to stop a tribe of humans that have been taking control of machines from before whatever event brought down humanity, and who want to conquer the rest of the world.

Horizon Zero Dawn’s map will most likely have a wide variety of different side events to do, whether it’s hunting, gathering, doing side missions, main missions, or challenges. Players that are up for completing everything that the game has to offer will likely be doing a lot of traveling as they go around the world.

Horizon Zero Dawn will be releasing on February 28 for North America and March 1 for Europe, exclusively on the Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro.
