GTA Online Legacy Console Character Transfer Ends In March, Special Events Announced By Rockstar

It has been over three years since the launch of GTA V and its online component, GTA Online, has been frequently used by the gamers ever since. The game initially released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before releasing on current gen consoles and PC and Rockstar stopped the support for legacy console version in 2015.

If for some reason you are still playing the game on legacy consoles you have over a month to transfer you GTA Online character to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Rockstar Games has announced that after March 6, 2017, players will not be able to transfer their Legacy console characters to current gen consoles.

If you have not yet brought your characters and progression over from PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 to PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC, time is running out as this will no longer be possible as of March 6, 2017. Rockstar has also announced special events within GTA Online that will offer steep discounts on in-game gear to players and bonus XP. The event will take place from February 1 to February 13.
