The PC version of Resident Evil 7 uses the Denuvo DRM to protect it from being pirated, however, the DRM for the game has apparently been cracked.
When Denuvo was first announced it seemed to be a perfect solution to piracy of the PC version of games and it seemed to be an effective one as many games have not yet been cracked that uses this DRM.
Resident Evil 7 used the latest version of Denuvo which has been cracked in less than 5 days. This is a big blow not only to Capcom but to all major publishers who use this DRM. Now the question is, will Capcom keep using Denuvo or will it remove it?
Capcom has also revealed the global stats for Resident Evil 7 which reveal that almost 10% of the players base is playing the game in VR and more.
Resident Evil 7 is a first-person horror survival game developed by Capcom for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
