It’s challenging to predict the future, but for me, compatibility is a feature we should preserve as long as possible.

It seems that Microsoft is very interested in the idea of backwards compatibility as many Xbox 360 titles are already available to be played on Xbox One through this feature.

However, backwards compatibility is not the only feature Microsoft is looking into as recently the company announced that Cross Play multiplayer between PC and Xbox One for Gears Of War 4 is coming back.

Also, Phil Spencer has stated that Cross Play is a good feature and introducing it to more and more titles is the company’s goal.

While a lot of titles are available through the Backwards compatibility but fans are still waiting for the Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 to be available for this feature. According to Xbox head, he really wants Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 to be made backward compatible.
