Dead Rising 4 Free Update Adds All-New Difficulty Modes and Street Fighter Outfit Pack
Dead Rising 4 is planned to get two new difficulty modes and a Street Fighter outfit pack later this month, Capcom Game Studio has confirmed.
If you are still on the fence about buying the game, Capcom has also confirmed a one-hour trial which should help you make your mind. Moreover, the new update will also address ‘several bugs’ that had plagued the game since launch.
Dead Rising 4 Gets New Difficulty Modes and Street Fighter Outfit Pack
The new difficulty modes will enable enemies to deal more damage, Frank’s weapons to break faster, and food restoring less health than before:
Frank will need to be a lot more careful and aware of his surroundings when trying to survive on a higher difficulty. Enemies do more damage; Frank’s weapons break faster and food restores less health than before. Keep your eyes peeled, watch your back, and don’t forget to scrounge for every weapon – you are going to need them.
In addition to these all-new difficulty modes, the game is also planned to receive five new outfits based on characters from the studio’s Street Fighter series. The featured image attached above shows off some of the fighters you will get to cosplay as.
While in game, just visit your wardrobe and you will find these five outfits for your ultimate zombie fighting experience.
Lastly, players who have yet to experience the game will be able to play a 60-minute long trial on Xbox One. The trail will allow players to get a taste of both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. Apart from this, the earned Achievements and saved game progress will carry over if the players decide to buy the game.
According to Capcom, the trial experience will begin starting Jan. 31, 2017. The all-new difficulty modes and Street Fighter outfit pack will be available on Jan. 30.
Dead Rising 4, released back on Dec. 06, 2016, is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
