Microsoft Announces Xbox’s February Games With Gold Titles

With February only a week away, Microsoft has announced what the Xbox’s February Games With Gold will be. Games with Gold is a program that allows Xbox players with Xbox Live Gold subscriptions to get up to four games a month for free, and normally the titles are all good.

This month, Xbox fans can look forward to seeing Project Cars, Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time, Monkey Island 2: Special Edition, and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. While all of these have been pretty modestly popular during their original time, hopefully they can find a new audience of nostalgic gamers to play with.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, for instance, is an Xbox One-native game that focuses around anywhere between one to four players, each one controlling a different part of the ship they’re on as they pilot the ship around the galaxy and fight enemies with the power of love.

While Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and Project Cars may be the only ones of the February Games With Gold titles that Microsoft has announced exclusively for it, it’ll likely find a home on someone’s own Xbox 360, unless they’re on an Xbox one that will run those two games as backwards compatibility titles.

So, if you’re one of those kinds of people that have wanted to re-play The Force Unleashed so that you can do feats of power with the Force that you can’t anywhere else, or want to replay an adventure of Guybrush Threepwood in Monkey Island 2, you can at least be entertained for a few hours.

In the meantime, you’ve got a good bit of time to wait before you’ll have the option to download all of the February Games with Gold titles, so whether you want something action-packed, something that you can play with a friend or multiple friends, a puzzle game filled with adventure, or even just a run-of-the-mill racing game, this month has something for everyone.
