According to BioWare dev Michael Gamble, Mass Effect: Andromeda on Xbox One runs awesome, which is good news for Xbox One players who might have been worried that the game’s performance would have been impacted due to the differences in resolution and graphics quality between the Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Ian Frazier, the lead designer of Andromeda, quickly decided to also make sure that the Playstation fans of the series knew that the game ran just as well on the PS4, even teasing Gamble about alienating the Playstation 4 fans.

Since Mass Effect: Andromeda on Xbox One and Playstation 4 is only around two months away (coming out on the 21st and 24th of March in North America and world wide, respectively), BioWare is likely going to start releasing more information for it, ranging from more trailers for the Andromeda Initiative that gives information about the ships and locations we’ll be visiting in the Helios Cluster, to what will likely be some more gameplay footage.

The tweets from both Frazier and Gamble were put on their Twitter accounts, which showed off how Mass Effect: Andromeda’s start up screen would look on both the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One. Neither one, however, showed what the game would look like on PC, even though Gamble has said that he plays the PC version every day. Considering how much better-looking many games are on the PC rather than on consoles, however, it probably looks even better than Mass Effect: Andromeda on Xbox One.

With the devs repeatedly teasing about everything that there is to do in the game, hopefully Mass Effect: Andromeda ends up living up to the hype, especially since it’s been a good few years since we’ve had a Mass Effect title. Even with BioWare not intimidated by the bad reception to the original trilogy’s original ending, hopefully the series hasn’t lost its spark for people.
