Gravity Rush 2 Combat Guide

These Gravity Styles manage to bring different flavours to the game’s already interesting combat system. Provided that you manage to use them effectively, you should have no difficulty in getting through the game.

In our Gravity Rush 2 Combat Guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about understanding the game’s combat system.

Gravitational Maneuvers

Players who have played the original Gravity Rush will know how important it is to master gravitational manoeuvres. These manoeuvres not only help players in defeating adversaries but also in traversing the game’s world and avoiding damage.

It goes without saying that the game puts a huge emphasis on Kat’s gravitational manoeuvres. This is something you need to keep in mind and practice as much as possible.

Unlike the original iteration, Gravity Rush 2 introduces a couple of additional Gravity Styles that unlock as you progress through the game. These additional Gravity Styles should allow you to mix things up to a great degree, take enemies down much quicker, and negate most of the damage.

You can check out our Gravity Styles Guide for more information but here is a brief recap of important points:

Normal Gravity Style
This Gravity Style is unlocked by default and is included from the original iteration of the game.

Lunar Gravity Style
Unlocked by completing ‘And the Soldier’s Wife?’ and allows Kat to jump to greater heights and reach farther distances.

Jupiter Gravity Style
Unlocked by completing ‘Black Eagle’ and increases Kat’s damage output at the cost of her movement speed.

It is also important to note that you can change Kat’s Gravity Styles on the get-go, allowing you to tackle difficult situations with ease.

Unique Attacks Offered by Gravity Styles

Now that we have an idea about unlocking all available Gravity Styles in the game, let us discuss unique elements that they bring to the game. Each Gravity Style in the game has a unique special attack which can save you from going down and quickly turn the tides of a hectic battle.

When it comes to Normal Gravity Style, it allows you to quickly deal damage to multiple enemies simultaneously. The special attack offered by Lunar Gravity Style allows you to toss elements present in the surroundings towards enemies to deal damage.

Finally, the special attack offered by Jupiter Gravity Styles causes enemies to get sucked in by a vacuum and receive a considerable amount of damage.

Execute Devastating Combos

Whenever you are fighting alongside Raven, try to execute special attacks in order to deal devastating damage to your adversaries. This is especially true when you are equipped with Jupiter Gravity Style that allows Kat to get heavier but also deal a massive amount of damage to multiple enemies at the same time.

In addition to this, this Gravity Style also allows Kat and Raven to send a brutal shockwave that deals damage to everyone in its radius. These are some of the combos that you need to pay attention to and you should be good to go.

This is everything we have on our Gravity Rush 2 Combat Guide. If there is anything else you would like to add, let us know in the comments.
