Nintendo Switch is hitting stores officially on March 3, 2017 and it will get Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ at its launch. The news came directly from game’s creator and founder on the game’s Tumblr page. This makes the game a launch title and it will be available at Nintendo eShop or you can get it at retail for $39.99.

Furthermore, in an official press, Rodriguez praised the game and said:

The Nintendo Switch launch line-up isn’t complete without Isaac. First few thousand copies may include something special.

The game features the deep, dark and frequently disturbing insanity of the complete Isaac experience, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ includes over 500 different items and weapons—many of which grant special powers and synergized attack combinations—scattered throughout more than 6,000 terrifying rooms. You’ll need as many as you can find if you expect to conquer the game’s 50+ unique bosses, complete more than 30 challenge modes and see all of the 20 different endings that equal over 4 billion possible gameplay combinations.

This makes Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ the 6th game in launch lineup of Nintendo Switch commencing on March 3, 2017. However, this does not change the fact that Nintendo Switch has a weak launch lineup. The launch figures are not much as Nintendo fans expected, plus most of the Switch games are scheduled to release later this year.

Like this game, there might be more titles coming out that we do not know of. The launch may not be as weak as we thought it would be after all.
